Anybody know when the spring tire rebates will show up? I'm getting impatient to order new tires for the spring and I want to make sure I get the rebate.

Is that an actual moon buggy tire or just some crazy concept?

It was made by NASA and goodyear but I don't think it's actually been used yet.

One time, I bought tires with a gift card rebate from TireRack. And I got the gift card, but it either wouldn't read right or had zero balance. So never again.

The rebate cards usually need to be activated first - there's a tel # and website on the back. I've never had a problem (yet).

If its not the one they use, it's pretty close:

They usually have promotions through the spring/summer and even more if they want to get rid of their stocks. But the manufacturer don't usualy offer rebates like they do for winter tire, even less if it's a more aggressive tires.
I have to look at Protégez-Vous because they have talk when was the best times to buy tires (it's fall for winter tires, due to the manufacturer rebate)

Typically it's 50-100 dollars on a set of 4. Not a lot, but I'm not going to order them and then have the rebates start the week after.
I'll maybe call Canadian Tire to see if they know more.

If you have a good garage, they will be able to tell you when the manufacturers typically have rebates.

Maybe when I tried to activate it, the code wasn't recognized... I forget the exact reason it didn't work, but it didn't. So I'll take rebate checks that never get delivered over getting my hopes up with a physical card.

I've received the 4Wheel Parts magazine (for the first time...) and seems that some manufacturer are running rebates during March, at least in the US. Maybe Canada will be Lucky too...

Good to know, thanks.

If you're in Canada, I can't help you. But in March/April/May the U.S. promos will kick up.

This is what I'm expecting here in Canada as well. If all else fails, I'll look at the value of a bit of cross-border shopping.

Be aware of import fees from non-US made tires when you come back to Canada, unless you have them mounted on your truck in the US and leave the old one there ;)

It's like you read my mind... :)

Don't forget to put some dirt on it prior to crossing the border ;) They are good to spot new stuff...

Don't worry, I'll take care of it.
I got a quote for 5 tires in Vermont, 935$ all taxes included. That's about 1150$ Canadian. It's going to cost between 1200-1400 with the taxes here, so I may end up buying locally.

http://www.4wheelparts.com/ have some tires with 100$ rebate. Don't know if it's a big deal.
